MixJudge Terms of Use

By using MixJudge ("the service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service description

MixJudge analyzes audio files directly in your browser and generates, using an AI model (Anthropic Claude), a technical and creative critique of your mix. The service may also offer an automatically generated "mastered" version based on this analysis.

2. Nature of the generated critiques — no professional guarantee

The critiques, scores, suggestions, and mastered version generated by MixJudge are produced by artificial intelligence based on automated measurements. They are neither professional mastering advice nor a certified report, and may contain errors, approximations, or recommendations that are not suited to your specific context. MixJudge does not replace the judgment of a sound engineer or mastering engineer.

You remain solely responsible for any creative or technical decisions you make based on the service's suggestions.

3. User account

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity carried out from your account. You must provide a valid and accurate email address.

4. Plans and usage limits

MixJudge offers a free plan with a limited number of critiques per day, and a paid plan with higher limits. We reserve the right to modify these limits, pricing, or included features, with reasonable notice posted on the site.

Payments, once processed, are refundable only as required by applicable law or at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to circumvent the service's usage limits or quota mechanisms;
Use the service to analyze content for which you do not hold the necessary rights;
Disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the service's infrastructure.

6. Ownership of your content

You retain all rights to the audio files you upload. MixJudge claims no ownership over your music. As stated in our Privacy Policy, the audio file itself is never sent to our servers.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, MixJudge and its publisher shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the service, including decisions made based on the generated critiques or mastered version.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or close an account in the event of abusive use or violation of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect is always the one posted on this page.
